The Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague was founded in 1952 and now it is the third largest university in Prague. Currently the university has more than 18 000 students (10% are international students), 6 Faculties and 1 Institute. CZU offers over 170 accredited study programmes at BSc, MSc and PhD levels (in 9 BSc, 20 MSc and 18 PhD programmes the language of instruction is English).

The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague is a prestigious educational and scientific institution. CULS courses – general information

• The courses are an accredited program of the State University
• The courses are organized and conducted by the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague
• In addition to the main language course, the program includes a “conversation club” with a native speaker, solving the samples of entrance examinations of various universities in the Czech language and individual consultations on academic support – for students of the program CULS Premium
• Preparatory courses on 2-4 subjects at student’s choice  – for students of the program CULS Premium
• The achieved level of Czech is B2, CERTIFICATE
• Visa validity – until the 31st of August 2023

The training is in groups of 15-18 people. The courses are taught by experienced teachers of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. At the end of the course, successful students reach the B2 language level, which is a requirement for admission to Czech universities to majors taught in Czech.

Preparatory courses

Preparatory courses on 2-4 subjects are included in the program CULS Premium. You can choose one of the following options:

• Economical subjects (mathematics, foreign languages)
• Technical subjects (mathematics, physics)
• Natural sciences, medicine, pharmacology, veterinary science (chemistry, physics, biology)
• Humanities (social sciences, foreign languages)
• Preparation for the general learning abilities and logical thinking test (for various majors)

You can take the preparatory courses in addition to the programs CULS Student and CULS Courses.

Semester courses 6.01.22. – 31.08.23. – level В2

This course assumes the maximum number of hours of Czech language in the amount of 500 hours, which corresponds to the number of hours offered at the year-long courses, which allows students to master the Czech language from scratch to B2 level for one semester.

Program “CULS Premium”

The “CULS Premium” program assumes the maximum number of hours of the Czech language, as well as training on two major subjects, which is already included in the price. This program is suitable for students who want to get maximum support and reliability in an unfamiliar country. This is also the best option for parents sending their children to study in the Czech Republic after graduation. You or your children will receive all kinds of help in various situations that a newly arrived student may face. Together we collect a package of documents for the embassy, ​​we give you all the necessary consultations, prepare in detail for an interview at the embassy. After coming to the Czech Republic together we go through all the necessary and statutory procedures, within the first year we provide maximum information about life and education in the Czech Republic, if necessary, we accompany you to the doctor and communicate with medical institutions and insurance companies. Together we solve the issue of future income, we collect in higher education institutions and provide the participants of the programs with a maximum of complete and up-to-date information on universities, specialties and entrance exams, if necessary, organize additional preparatory courses, in every way contribute to the success of the participant at the entrance exams and increase the probability of his admission to the state university of the Czech Republic. An important role is played by the organization of leisure. Parents can be sure that their children will spend their free time interestingly and profitably. For this purpose we organize excursions, communication with Czechs – native speakers, visits to Days of open doors in universities, etc.

This program provides for more individual, rather than group, consultations.

Program “CULS Student”

The “CULS Student” Program is suitable for students whose budget is somewhat limited, or who do not require such a large number of hours of Czech or courses in major subjects. First of all, we recommend this program to students who plan to enter the Master’s program, because courses in major subjects for admission to the Master’s program in the Czech Republic are not held. Nevertheless, this program also provides for a wide range of everyday, academic and visa support from our curators. Students are met at the airport and placed in a dormitory, have an informational walk around the city, are helped to buy a travel card. Further, the curators advise students on nostrification, help to properly collect and formalize documents for the submission of certificates and diplomas for nostrification to the relevant authorities, provide support for applying to universities, as well as visa support, not only before coming to the Czech Republic, but also after the arrival – preparation of documents for the extension of visas, support of students in the migration policy department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic, consultations on the extension of visas.

Program “CULS Courses”

The “CULS Courses” program is more suitable for young people older than 22-23, who may have already graduated from the university in their country and want to solve many issues on their own. If you are independent, purposeful, and open to everything new, but not ready to spend a large amount of money on an educational program, we offer you the best option. Also, as in the “CULS Courses” program, we offer preparatory courses of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague CULS, full visa support, assistance in preparing documents and preparing for an interview at the consulate. After coming to the Czech Republic students are independent. Thus, you save up to 1300 Euros.
