1. Camp for youth from 12 years in Prague – “Prague summer” program

If you are thinking about studying in the Czech Republic or sending your children to study in the Czech Republic but are still hesitating, or if you simply would like to learn more about the Czech Republic, Prague, Czech language, Czech education and conditions for studying there we offer you to join “Prague summer” youth program.

Participants of the program can not only take Czech language course, but also receive detailed information on education in the Czech Republic and conditions of entering the Czech high schools. Students can also visit the largest universities of Prague; see the sights of Prague and some other cities of the Czech Republic and Europe.

The course program includes accommodation, breakfasts and lunches. Suppers are centrally organized and accompanied by tutor.

“Summer in Prague” camp

Program price: 1500 EUR

Camp duration:  July 4 – July 25, 2018

The program price includes:

• Training materials for language studying
• Tickets for all actions specified in the program
• SIM card of the Czech mobile provider with free calls in the network
• Transfer to/from accommodation
• Documents required for receiving a visa, sending their scanned copies by e-mail
• Russian-speaking group tutor

Accommodation: 22 days/21 nights in hotel rooms of the residence of Charles University. Residing in double rooms with all amenities. Free Wi-Fi. Wood, lake, and beach are located near to the residence. The centre of Prague can be reached in 25 minutes by tram without changes.

Meals: the program price includes three meals a day on the week days (buffet breakfast, complex lunch and supper).

Study program: English or Czech language courses- 45 academic hours with the native speaker, training materials, tests, certificate. Students study in lecture rooms at educational centre of Charles University, in only 2-minute walk from accommodation. Workshop on English language is arranged at Anglo-American university in Prague.

Program on visiting the high schools: visiting state and private universities of Prague, Technical library in Prague, familiarization with education system of the Czech Republic, presentation of preliminary courses of various universities, consultations concerning the choice of programs and conditions of getting a state-financed place in the Czech universities.

 The price of “Summer in Prague” language course does not include:

• cost of consular fees and insurance for obtaining a visa
• flight to Prague and back
• lunch on the weekend – about 7 EUR for lunch, +/-35 EUR in total
• monthly ticket for public transport – about 25 EUR
• ticket to aquapark – from 15 to 25 EUR

2a. Summer courses at Charles University in Prague for students over 18 y.o.

• Program for students over 18 y.o.
• Duration – 2.7.2017 – 29.7.2017
• Daily lessons from 9.00 till 13.15 (90 + 90 + 45 minutes)
• Students can get consultations in the afternoon
• There are about 12 students in a group
• Program price – 1.250 EUR

The price includes:

• courses
• training materials
• assistance with drawing up of papers
• residing at hotel-type dormitory
• meeting at the airport in Prague and transfer to dormitory
• support for registration at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic (if necessary)
• graduation party
• consultations concerning study in the Czech Republic
• excursions in Prague, Czech Republic and Europe – for additional payment

Accommodation is paid additionally and costs 160 EUR for the period 6.7.2015 till 31.7.2015.

 2b. Summer camp for youth 14 – 18 y.o. at Charles university

• Duration: 17.7.2017 – 4.8.2017

• Program price – 2.050 EUR

Program of culture-oriented linguistics course

First half of the day

Training: Czech language + country-specific studies – Monday – Friday 8.30-12.00, 20 hours per week, 60 hours in total

Second half of the day

Consultations concerning the choice of future speciality, possibilities of studying at high schools of the Czech Republic – 2 times a week, 6 hours per week, 18 hours in total

Excursions

Prague, Krivoklat Karlstein and other sights – second half of the day, every day, 14.00 – 18.00, 20 hours per week, 60 hours in total

In the evening

Games, theatre, cinema, sports

Weekend 

Day tours to outstanding sites and reserves – Saturdays and Sundays

Meals and accommodation are included into program price

Price – 2.050 EUR

The program includes:

• learning the Czech language (groups for beginners and advanced students)
• lectures on country-specific studies (history, geography, realities, culture – architecture, history, music, theatre, cinema, etc.) in Russian
• consultations, tests from the future speciality
• information on entrance exams of the Czech high schools
• information on acknowledgement of the secondary education in the Czech Republic
• excursions across Prague and the Czech Republic in Czech and Russian

Certified examination on the Czech language for foreigners (CCE) at A2 level can be passed upon student’s will. Minimal quantity of students for exam organization – 6 persons. Exam price 3000, crown. Certificate has no expiration date and is issued in two languages: Czech and English.

Depending on weather and wishes of the course participants, the entertainment program can be changed. When the weather is good some lessons may be arranged outdoors.

Lecturers from Charles University teach at courses. Every group of 12 students will have a Russian-speaking tutor and will be carefully supervised by experienced teachers during the whole course.
